The Beauty of the Mundane
The Beauty of the Mundane is a 15-piece narrative still-life series of illustrations. Throughout this visual essay, the content aims to take the reader through three days from Claire's point of view engaging in habitual mundane tasks. The subjects will only be five necessary actions; waking up, brushing teeth, making food, washing dishes, and walking to the bus. In addition, the artist rotates between five different mediums, using only one per piece. Emphasis will be placed on the environment and detail of the objects around them to embody their joy and admiration of the space.
